When adult entertainment giants Adam & Eve signed their newest contract girl recently, they got one hot tamale.
Her name's Carmen Luvana—she's a 21-year-old Puerto Rican hottie from Brooklyn (ay ay ay, don't get me started on Brooklyn girls … I happen to love me some Flatbush fillies, yes sir… ). At five-foot-three, and a 34C-22-34 figure, Carmen is a tight little package of sexy Spanish dynamite, and there's no doubt that when she explodes, it brings a whole new spin on the term "big bang."
Carmen's a fresh face in adult entertainment, and she's already made quite an impact on the industry, receiving an AVN Awards nomination for best new starlet for her sizzling performances in such releases as Young As They Cum #2 and Randy West's Up and Cummers 101.
Carmen, who now lives in Los Angeles (where else?), was discovered in the hot nightclubs of South Beach, Miami where she was trying to drive the men, and women, crazy, she says.
"This is because I am a true exhibitionist, plus some extra stuff," she hints. "I am told I have a mixture of a Spanish accent with a bit of a crazy Brooklyn-influenced accent. That means you can pick out my voice in a dark room."
Oh, if we were only so lucky.
For their part, Adam & Eve plan to use their new exclusive deal with Carmen to break into new markets of porn, as well as to dominate existing ones.
"This is a perfect match," said Bob Christian, director of productions at Adam & Eve. "Carmen and Adam & Eve will compliment each other well. As we make a foray into Spanish language markets, as well as her already evident appeal to mainstream English speaking markets, Carmen will provide an excellent avenue for people to see what Adam & Eve is capable of.
"Likewise, we will supply her with an outlet of distribution and marketing power that's unattainable anywhere in the marketplace today."
And that's good news for Carmen, who's equally excited about her new association with A&E.
"I am very excited to work with a company like Adam & Eve," said Luvana from her home in Los Angeles. "I know that the possibilities available to us through film productions, my website and as a face of the company will allow both of us to improve and expand our reach."
Luvana's deal calls for her to appear in eight Adam & Eve Productions pictures over the course of the next year. She will also act as the face of the company in many of its promotions during the 2003 calendar year and will appear in every facet of the company's marketing push, from the front of the catalog to the face of the adameve.com website, Carmen will be a mainstay in the marketing of Adam & Eve.
The babelicious blonde has been working in adult films for less than two years, but has already appeared in 14 features. With her eager attitude and intoxicating Brooklyn accent (she's also bilingual, one bi you won't find often among starlets), she got noticed fast.
"I started my trek in the adult business in erotic dancing and loved the fact that I make guys horny," said Luvana. "It's a tremendous turn on for me. I decided to take my thirst for sex a little further by becoming an adult film actress. So here I am."
According to Carmen, getting involved in adult films was an organic evolution, taking advantage of her natural talents and passions.
"Sex is my favorite hobby, food, position, and flavor," she said. "It was on the set during my first starring role in a feature movie that I was so turned on by the wild sex that I was having on camera that I could not stop when the director yelled 'cut.' I was so turned on at that moment that I couldn't hear anything they were telling me. I just wanted to keep doing it and I completely forgot where I was."
