Latinas are taking over the universe.
If you live in Los Angeles, you already know this, but if not you need go no further than the upper echelons of pop media to discover that they are peppered (sorry… ) with luscious Latin girls worthy of many a lascivious leer.
Spanish-speaking people are the fastest growing demographic in the US, and to accommodate the needs and desires of this populace (as well as the needs and desires of everyone else enchanted by Hispanic wiles), avenues of entertainment ranging from pop music to porno are catering to these tastes by introducing entertainers whose roots lie in this culture.
Quite a few adult entertainment studios have floated fresh, new Latin faces our way in the past months. And, truth be told, some of them looked like they wouldn’t know my Nana’s molé from menudo. Basically, girls who made TV’s Jessica Alba look like a mustachioed Frida Kahlo by way of comparison.
However, the latest nugget adult company Video Team has scratched from the vast mine of nymphs that is Los Angeles looks as authentically Latin as the piñata at a fiesta de cumpleaños.
Her name is Daisy, and she’s definitely one Hispanic flower worthy of a bouquet. She’s 19, and is almost ludicrously pretty, as you can see by the pics to the left.
Video Team, long regarded as the vanguard of ethnic-themed adult films, announced last week that they, along with adult novelty manufacturer California Exotic Novelties, have signed an exclusive deal with the Latina sensation. With the signing of the Mexican-American hottie to an exclusive contract, both companies extend their commitment to the ethnic market, Latinos in particular.
Daisy’s an East L.A. native, as you can tell by her delicious accent.
"Daisy is simply the most fiery, beautiful and sexy performer in that arena. The first time I saw her face I knew we had something special. She's youthful, natural, and lustful," explained Video Team President Christian Mann. "Signing Daisy is a natural for Video Team. We are committed to remaining the pre-eminent producer of high-end ethnic product, which includes Latin-American performers."
And California Exotic Novelties' founder Susan Colvin is almost as excited about the marketing possibilities of an exclusive Daisy/Latina line as we are about Daisy herself.
"We're thrilled to have Daisy aboard," said Colvin. “Not only is she gorgeous, but she's intelligent, with a fresh perspective about adult toys. We plan to have her active involvement in the creation of her signature line. The Latino market is the fastest growing demographic in the country and that will translate to new sales in an expanding market."
And Daisy’s pretty happy about representing luscious Latinas in the adult entertainment field as well.
"This is a dream come true for me," the young nubile said. "I had my sights set on [signing with] Video Team from the beginning. Everything about them is first class: their movies, their boxes, all of their ads. I'm very excited."
Daisy says she sees her exclusive arrangement with Video Team as not just a lucrative business opportunity, but a chance to fulfill her own naughty desires.
"I look forward to acting out my sexual fantasies in our upcoming movies," she said. "One thing I promise to all of the fans is to be real. Bottom line—I love to have sex and anybody who watches me on screen will see that. I think Video Team and I are a perfect match."
Our little Latina says she’s also excited about stepping up to the plate for her toy-loving hermanas.
"I think it's about time some sex toys were made for Latinas," she said. "I like that California Exotics cares about women and our point of view. I can't wait to see what we come up with. I promise you it'll all be very exciting."
Oh, we’re sure they will be!
While specific terms of the signing were not released, both Video Team and California Exotic Novelties did confirm that the agreement revolves around a one year/multi-picture/multi-product/multi-appearance deal. Daisy can currently be seen in Video Team's Mamacitas 2 and No Man's Land: Latin Edition, Part 3, and will soon begin shooting United Colors of Ass, Volume #10. |
