Teagan Presley: Photo spread and interview with one of Digital Playground's hottest starlets. More»
9-02-2003

As soon as Snoop Dogg did a porn movie a few years ago, it felt like the adult industry had replaced the bwa-chicka-bwa-bwa for the drive-bys, chronic and big butts that make up the world of hip-hop. Now Treach from Naughty By Nature, Ice-T, Digital Underground, DJ Yella of NWA, Mystikal and Too Short have all played the XXX game.

Rap stars went where few rock stars dared. No, dating Playboy Bunnies does not count. These hip-hop humpers have been performing, producing and putting their own hits ("Humpty Dance") into their adult films.

The bad boy is the ultimate sex symbol. Pair that with the supposed stereotypical endowment of the black man and you've got something a whole lot of something.

You've got sex appeal.

And why not? Rap and raunch feel right together. Music videos have used sex as their main sales tool for a long time, but hip-hop videos with their shakin' booties have more than used sex, they've exuded it. Think way back to Sir Mix-a-Lot and Big Daddy Kane and you'll get a big ass image of what I mean.

Nobody is going to look down at a bad guy for doing porn. What's he supposed to do, co-star with the Olson twins? No, if he's going to embrace his grandmother shooting image then doing a few skin flicks can only help.

Besides, getting pussy is manly, but getting paid to get pussy is pimping. And many of these hip hop stars have admitted to having been pimps before they went platinum, many more of them have alluded to it in the hopes that we will just assume they were, whether it's true or not. Their whole industry is built on pimpin' hoes, slinging drugs and killin' thugs. Because this industry, like every part of the entertainment industry, is built on image, and girls do make everything look so good.

Now adult entertainment powerhouse Adam & Eve have joined up with Icewater Films to release Get In Where You Fit In featuring hip-hop star Too Short and complete with an original soundtrack of new Too Short music.

The first in a line of jointly-produced urban adult videos Get In Where You Fit In showcases the decadent lifestyle of a successful rap artist, complete with horny groupies, an ever-ready entourage and more.

Too Short oversaw all of the sex scenes himself to make sure it was really raw and really racy.

His records have gone multi-platinum and it won't be any surprise if his porn does, too.
