If you're a swinger, it seems the opportunities in Sin City may've been a little slim—at least that's the rumor that Couples Oasis Society is trying to put to rest. Let's clarify—if you're a couple who likes meeting and spending time with other couples, then this may be the club for you.
According to Couples Oasis Society, the clubs in Vegas all have an open door policy regarding couples and singles, which is fine if you're a couple who is interested in being around a bunch of singles but it doesn't leave much for the couples who desire to be around other couples. They decided they wanted to create something different, something that would offer the best of both worlds and provide a clean, classy and safe environment for all involved.
An organization for swinging couples, Couples Oasis Society is a "Virtual Reality Society." If you're one of the many who thinks "What the hell is a virtual reality society?"—relax. Simply put, Couples Oasis Society is an online club. Being an online club doesn't mean that they don't party in real time: they do every weekend. But because their parties are private affairs, they don't have to let everyone in off the street. It means they can be selective about who attends.
You want to attend, you say? Parties are for member couples, but they welcome both local and out of state couples to check out the Society. Just remember: there are no member singles in "Couples" Oasis.
Run by a couple involved in the swinging lifestyle since 1989, the club is truly dedicated to enhancing the experience for all party-goers. Respect is a touchstone word—your limitations and boundaries are up to you and they are worthy of respect from everyone. This ensures a comfort level for all participants.
And as far as party amenities go, they use their 5,500 sq. ft. home to host the events. It's located on almost an acre and a half of land, completely surrounded by an 8 ft. block wall for complete privacy. They have discreet private parking in the backyard for up to 60 cars. Inside the home is a dance floor with pole, with a DJ-booth currently sporting 3000 songs on file. They have a giant indoor spa, private and group areas as well as an enclosed park like backyard that was host to a Sunday VIP party for the Lifestyles Organization and NASCA during the 2001 Lifestyles convention.
The parties are BYOB (Bring your own bottle). They offer an excellent bar with all of the mixers and setups, but don't supply any liquor, beer or wine. They are kind enough to lay out a nice selection of munchies to keep you fueled up for other things. All parties start at 8pm and go until 3am.
The membership fee for Couples Oasis Society is $25 annually. The donation for the parties is $40. The membership and donation totals $65 the first time out, after that the $40 donation is good for the entire weekend, Friday and Saturday. The donation for sponsored singles is $50 per party (Men) and $10 for single ladies. (See the website for rules on sponsoring select singles.) And they offer an incentive to individual NASCA members—they'll waive the membership fee for one evening if you can produce an individual NASCA membership. Party on!
