Raw. Real. Rough.
Those are the words used to describe the wild, wild, West in the 1800s. And those are also the words that could be used to describe adult film star Carmen Luvana's latest big budget effort, Raw Hide, an action-packed erotic adventure.
Filmed on remote locations throughout southern California, and with costumes and sets that would make some mainstream films jealous, Raw Hide is a sex-filled spin on the classic Western. Adult superstars Evan Stone, Steven St. Croix, and Brooke Balentine round out a delicious cast that recalls the days and nights of the old frontier.
Though it looks like all fun and games in the finished product, the truth is that, for some, the making of Raw Hide was a lesson in hard work.
"I couldn't wait to work with (director) Nicholas Steele on this amazing production," said Luvana. "But it was a challenge with such long days (and) the hours on horseback. I think I was pushed to the edge."
Steele agrees.
"Raw Hide is a labor of love. It's an homage to the Westerns we grew up watching, which always had an element of the forbidden," he said, "of raw lust underneath the surface. I think we've captured that in this film." Maybe so, but there are definitely scenes here that would make the Lone Ranger and Tonto blush.
After inheriting a horse ranch, dazzling beauty Luvana must decide whether she's a city girl… or a buck-wild cowgirl! Rugged cowboys, brothel maids and cattle kings rope her into the outlaw sexual spirit of the great outdoors.
Gun-slinging Ballentine's tongue lassos in stiff rodeo riders, while tightly corseted Olivia del Rio straddles a strapping stud on a horse-n-buggy. Carmen gets a taste of the orient from Asian temptress Kaylani Lei, but she hungers for the hard body of handsome cattleman Stone.
Luvana is one of the brightest new stars on the adult horizon today, and is under exclusive contract to Adam & Eve. |
