 The twelfth annual Texas Latex Party, TLP 2004, will be held in Houston, Texas, March 4 through 7. The party is a strictly private, invitation-only, pan-fetish event, though the emphasis is, obviously, on latex. An enthusiastic group of pleasure dressers and fetish lovers travel from all over the country and around the world to commune and celebrate their love of latex, leather, thigh-high boots and other kinky accoutrements.  The Baroness says it's the best three-day fetish event in America, and that if you plan to attend, "You'll need many fabulous outfits!" Given the hectic schedule, you'll also need plenty of stamina!There are numerous opportunities to display your fetishwear, beginning with the Early Arrival Welcome Party Thursday night in the Hospitality Suite. Festivities often continue late into the night, so the following day you can ease into your afternoon with a Fetish Tea Party and Corset Fashion Show by San Francisco's Dark Garden. This precedes the Formal Fetish Supper and Dance at The Great Caruso Dinner Theater Friday evening. Saturday afternoon you can sport your sexiest daywear at a Fetish Luncheon, then change into your formalwear for the big TLP Grand Ball Saturday night, which includes a Baroness Fashion Show, a Fetish Contest and Awards Ceremony. On Sunday morning, bleary-eyed latex lovers can don one more ensemble for the Farewell Brunch before heading home. In addition to all the planned activities, a Private Play Suite with dungeon equipment provided by Mistress Precious will be accessible throughout the weekend so participants can see their latex in action. Attendees can shop for assorted fetish fashions and implements at the Vendors' Faire and attend classes at "Fetish U." Plus there are loads of giveaways and party favors. Everyone we spoke to mentioned all sorts of the fetishy frolicking one might assume would develop in private hotel rooms after hours. From wild photo shoots and elaborate scenes to hot rubber sex, things do tend to heat up behind closed doors. During the day plenty of public kinkiness unfolds, such as the wet mud "splosh" photo shoot attempted every year. This is simply the global rubber crowd in a "controlled," less clubbish setting, a joyous gathering of people with a passion for rubber who are willing to travel to meet and hang out with others who share their fetish.  Mistress Norma Jean, a local Texan but a veteran fetish event traveler, says, "The Texas Latex Party is the event of the year here in Houston. With so much glamour, fun and frolic, it's getting to be as big as The Black and Blue Ball, Black Rose and other stellar events. I hope to see more people come down for this event," adding that "There's nothing like Springtime in Latex!"Lady Lily explains why the event has become her favorite "all inclusive fetish event": "The TLP is a great event to attend if you want to see -- and feel, if you're lucky! -- all sorts of folks in all kinds of fabulous latex from all over the world. It's an especially nice event because it's all weekend long at the same location, and you can literally walk around in the hotel in the most bizarre rubber as long as the most private parts are covered. Although I've only been to one before, the folks I met there were so faboo, from the couple next door, who you'd never have guessed were into fetish, to the international divas of our time!"
