Las Vegas Featured Event

The word Lifestyle is synonymous with swinging in the erotic world, and nothing could be more fun for swingers than sharing it with thousands of other like-minded and festive folks. Do it in the City of Sin, and you've got one hell of a party, er, convention on your hands.

The Lifestyle organization grew very rapidly since its inception in 1969, when Robert and Geri McGinley opened their first private swing club in Anaheim, CA. The club was immediately appreciated as a dignified, shameless place for couples to express their polyamory while swinging to the Jack London motto "The Proper Function of Man is to Live - Not to Exist." The McGinley's went national with their concept, and the first Lifestyles convention was born in 1973, with both seminars and social events. Since then, the numbers of attendees have multiplied exponentially.

Eventually, in 1985, Lifestyles took their pluralism on the road by establishing their tours, travel and PlayCouples' Holiday. As swinging became a more accepted sexual exploration, so did Lifestyles. The group now has over 35,000 association members from all over the world and annual conventions on the east coast, west coast and even Mexico.

This years Lifestyles Convention West has all the fun and facts a swinger could dream of. Wednesday kicks off with a pool soiree, happy hour and dance party. Thursday, things get going with an art show, another pool party (you can't have too many of those, now, can you?) and a Naughty Neon 'N Blacklite party that promises to be an over-the-top hit.

Friday, a slate of exhibits and seminars are scheduled (including "The Newly-Swingers Game" and "The Corset Diet; A Body Makeover"), accompanied by another pool party and a Moulin Rouge Lingerie show. Also, the folks of Hedonism (one of the convention's main sponsors) will throw their usual Friday resort party for this unusually large crowd. That evening, LA Couples host their annual Pimp 'N' Ho party.

Saturday there are almost a dozen seminars and lectures to choose from, including "How NOT to Know Your Mate," "Secret Pleasure Spots & Techniques," "The Pornastic World of Adult Video," and "Gangbangs, Trains and Bukkakes". That evening is "the big one" with a Hollywood Glitz and Glamour night, complete with a red carpet. Attendees are encouraged to dress to the hilt as their favorite Hollywood stars. They promise no paparazzi at this red carpet event!

Lifestyles members believe that they have more honest, happy, communicative and healthy relationships. Sounds like a great plus to a deliciously decadent swinging weekend.
