Eros Zine: You're originally from Vietnam. North or South? When did you leave?
Saigon Lee: My mother is from North Vietnam, and my father is from South Vietnam. I am the youngest of 9 children. When I was only 2 months old, we left Vietnam. My aunt was having an affair with a US congressman and arranged for us all to fly out at the last minute.
EZ: How old were you when you started presenting in public as a woman. What was the emotional experience like?
SL: I've always been extremely feminine and was teased endlessly throughout my childhood. I thought I was a girl, and didn't know there was anything "wrong" with me. I looked like a girl even when I was very young. So my transition was easy… not to say that there weren't any bumps in the road.
My family loves me dearly. It hasn't always been easy for us to get along, but they are aware of what I do. They know all about my website, and believe it or not, my mother is tremendously supportive.
I'm don't argue with anyone about whether I am a woman or whatever. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I'm a feminine entity who relates with the female gender. I've lived my life femininely ever since I was 16. I've accepted my life as a transsexual and have finally found the joy in it.
People usually don't know that I'm a transsexual when first meeting me, but when they find out they give me so much respect because they sense that I'm at peace with myself. It was a long road to shift my paradigm of thought, I had to go through a bad spell of depression for 3 years. Now I'm working out everyday with all my girlfriends.
EZ: When did you start your website saigonlee.com?
SL: I enjoy all the blessings my website has brought me. I tried to have my own site for years, but I always got exploited to no end by greedy individuals. I never received a penny from it!
Then I met Jake from Mr. Bad Daddy, and he became my webmaster and business partner. He totally wanted it to happen for me and believed in me.
We started the site in 2001, and it just took off. The process was hard work and still is. But Jake has always been so very patient with me, even when I suffered from depression. I am very lucky to call him a friend and spiritual brother.
It's still really bizarre how much exposure the site has gotten. I get recognized when I least expect it. When my girlfriends and I go out to a movie, bar, or anywhere public, I get recognized. It's sometimes a sticky situation to be at a nightclub with a guy is hitting on you, and then his friend recognizes you because he's a member of your website!
EZ: You offer three live webcam shows every week. That seems like a lot! How long do they last and what are they like? Do you have fun doing them?
SL: I do 3 shows a week on my site. Jake thinks it's too much because we don't charge for my shows; it just comes with the membership. But I love all my fans. I love talking to them and showing off for them. It's basically like getting a big dose of ego gratification 3 nights a week!
Each show lasts about an hour. In the beginning it was very mechanical for me. Now, I'm like a crazy bat, hanging upside down naked doing all kinds of wild stuff.
All the guys watching are so sweet and funny!!! They always send me care packages of my favorite things. Lately, at the end of my shows, I write all their names on my body with a marker before I sign off.
EZ: You seem so appreciative of your fans. Tell me about some of their reactions to you.
SL: I'm having fun with this whole Asian superstar status. I get photos of me in the mail to autograph. I just got more today from Germany… Its all really weird for me to even mention it because it makes me feel like I'm talking myself up, but things like this happen all the time.
It floors me every time a guy tells me he's been dreaming of meeting me and has pleasured himself to my photos, I even had one guy send me a video of him doing it to my pictures that were laid out on his table!!!!
EZ: What are your biggest turn-ons?
SL: I'm pretty much turned on by anything beautiful, male or female. What I really love though is an old fashioned mentality. A lot of old fashioned values are so romantic to me… if only they included orgies for nymphos like me, lol!
EZ: What's next for you?
SL: Hopefully soon I'll do even more shoots for Asian-TS, Bob's T-girls, and Allanah Starr. Allanah is a sweet girl. I met her in Vegas 3 years ago. She's so easy going, and I'm always mesmerized by her beautiful breasts!!
I also plan to tour the US and Europe to meet my fans, cause lord knows I just wanna suck the life out of every one of them!!
I've been asked to move into mainstream show business for years, but I love what I do right now. I love being sexually uninhibited and being a fantasy to men and even women. So with that kind of appreciation, how can I turn my back on all these fans? I'm in it for the long run. I'm also very spiritual and believe in karma and accepting responsibility for one's own actions. I have so much love to give why not give it?
