Starring "hormonally and surgically altered transmen," the movie's box cover promises an entirely new breed of porn stars. Surgically altered, in this case, means removed boobs as opposed to pumped-up ones, and rather than puffed up lips, it's the clits that have been hormonally enhanced. The definition of trannyfags was useful as well: "Female-to-male transgender queers who are attracted to other transmen and to fags who were born into biologically male bodies, bio-men." All the gender/trans/queer-identification can be a bit boggling. Whatever. Sex is sex, eh?

Well, watching this video was slightly...uncomfortable. Instead of watching it the way I would mainstream porn, I found myself looking at it from an anthropological viewpoint. I've met plenty of transgendered people, but I haven't seen any of them having sex. Or even nude. So I felt embarrassingly like a voyeur, or a curious gawker. What did they look like naked? In the first scene, all four stars are in an outdoor jacuzzi, where they start making out and undressing each other. Trannyfags was filmed in San Francisco, where there seems to be no shortage of every imaginable constellation of queer. Morty lives in Manhattan now, and I certainly hope there's enough of a supply for more of this enlightening porn. I look forward to watching Diamond's filmmaking future, for although this virgin foray into porn directing had a decidedly amateur feel, it probably won't be long before Morty hones those smutmeister skills to a totally professional level. Well, hopefully not too professional!
I won't just recommend this video the way I would any other enjoyable piece of smut. Nope. I will go one step further and tell you it should be required viewing. You will see things you've probably never seen before, watch sex you've probably never had before and generally be exposed to a whole lotta new and different. And you will, most definitely, have a whole new understanding of - and appreciation for - our transgendered friends.
